Customer Contact Week is a different kind of event. CCW brought together more than 5,000 attendees for over 181 hours of programming focused on customer experience, contact center operations, and emerging technologies, with 54% of Fortune 100 companies represented. C3ntro Global attended CCW Las Vegas 2026 at Caesars Forum with our DID team. What we found was an industry in active transition, and a room full of the people navigating it in real time.

A Different Room Than We Are Used To

CCW draws a different attendee profile than the wholesale telecom events we typically attend. Here the room is made up of contact center service providers, the enterprises that use those services, and the technology companies building the infrastructure underneath them. What keeps senior leaders coming back is no longer curiosity about AI. It is the harder question: how to implement automation without eroding trust, creating compliance exposure, or burning out the humans still handling the most complex moments.

That framing resonated with us. The questions being asked at CCW are not hypothetical. They are operational. Organizations at every stage of contact center maturity were there to benchmark, evaluate, and make decisions, not just to observe.

What the Industry Is Talking About

AI Moving From Pilot to Production

The clearest signal at CCW 2026 was AI agents moving from pilot to production, with vendors racing to prove accuracy, compliance, and measurable outcomes at enterprise scale. The conversation has shifted from “can AI do this?” to “how do we deploy this reliably at scale, and how do we measure whether it is actually working?” That is a meaningful maturation in how the industry is approaching the technology.

For C3ntro Global, this is directly relevant. AI-integrated voice services depend on the same underlying infrastructure we provide: DID numbers, SIP connectivity, and reliable call termination. The more sophisticated the voice application, the more the quality of that foundation determines the outcome.

Omnichannel Unification

The omnichannel conversation at CCW was less about adding channels and more about connecting them. Today’s customers expect proactive, personalized experiences backed by data and context, with AI and machine learning enabling brands to predict needs before customers even reach out. The infrastructure requirement that follows from that expectation is a unified numbering and routing layer that behaves consistently across voice, SMS, and digital channels. That is exactly where DID services sit.

New Opportunities at the Infrastructure Layer

Nat Rudy, C3ntro Global’s DID Director, described CCW as an opportunity to explore the market from a different angle than our usual wholesale events:

"CCW is a very different event from what we are used to. We were able to walk the floor, understand what contact center providers and their enterprise customers actually need, and identify where our DID infrastructure fits into that picture. We came looking for new opportunities, and we found them."

The contact center market represents a substantial and growing demand signal for DID services. Every agent seat, every virtual number, every AI voice workflow needs a phone number behind it. Understanding how that demand is evolving at the user level is part of how we stay positioned to serve it well at the infrastructure level.

What We Took Back

CCW confirmed something we already believed: the contact center industry is becoming more infrastructure-aware. As AI voice automation scales and omnichannel unification moves from strategy to execution, the quality of the underlying connectivity layer becomes more visible, not less. That is a conversation C3ntro Global is well-positioned to be part of.

We will be watching how the market evolves from here, and we are already in conversations with contact center operators who are building the next generation of voice and messaging infrastructure.
