Every March, Miami becomes the meeting point for the Americas and Caribbean wholesale telecom community. AWC is where the industry gets together, not to present, but to talk. Two days of bilateral meetings, suite conversations, and the kind of direct exchange that only happens when the right people are in the same room. C3ntro Global attended AWC 2026 with teams from our SMS, Voice, and DID divisions. This is what we brought back.

The SMS Perspective: Quality, Strategy, and Long-Term Relationships

Mariana Osorio, C3ntro Global’s SMS Sales Director, has attended AWC for over 15 years. That kind of tenure gives a different lens on what the event reveals year over year, not just what is being said, but how the tone of the industry is shifting.

"AWC feels like a reunion of friends who do business together. You already know who you are going to find there, you already know what you are going to talk about. The conversations are warm, close, and real. That familiarity, built over years of showing up, is itself a commercial asset."

This year’s conversations in the SMS space reflected a market in active transformation. The wholesale messaging industry is navigating a more complex commercial environment, one where route quality, delivery reliability, and long-term partnership structures are taking priority over short-term pricing decisions. For C3ntro Global, that shift aligns directly with how we have built our SMS infrastructure: direct carrier connections, compliance-first deployment per market, and the routing quality that transactional and authentication traffic demands.

AWC delivered what it always delivers for our SMS team: the chance to sit across from partners we work with every day and have the conversations that do not happen on weekly calls. New service opportunities, operational alignment, and strategic discussions that require being in the same room.

The DID Perspective: New Interconnections and Regional Expansion

For C3ntro Global’s DID division, AWC 2026 produced something concrete.

"At AWC, we were able to engage with carriers from across the region, strengthen our existing partnerships, and create new opportunities for interconnections. These valuable discussions laid the foundation for new business collaborations."

With DID coverage across 120+ countries, expansion is not about adding markets to a list. It is about deepening the relationships with carriers that make those markets operationally reliable: better sourcing, more direct interconnects, stronger compliance infrastructure per country. AWC 2026 moved those conversations forward in ways that a remote meeting simply cannot replicate.

What AWC Confirms Every Year

Being present at AWC is not a marketing exercise for C3ntro Global. It is an operational commitment. The wholesale telecom industry runs on relationships built over time, and staying current with those relationships requires being in the room where they happen.

Two consistent themes came through this year, across our SMS, Voice, and DID conversations:

  • Quality over cost is the new baseline expectation. Partners are not shopping for the cheapest route. They are looking for operators who can guarantee delivery performance, compliance documentation, and operational reliability across markets. That is a conversation C3ntro Global is well-positioned to lead.
  • Strategic alliances are replacing transactional relationships. LATAM is growing in financial digitalization, e-commerce, and transactional services, which translates into real messaging and voice volumes. In that environment, long-term partnerships with operators who understand the region are worth more than any single routing agreement.

C3ntro Global has been part of this ecosystem for over 30 years as a company and 15 years as a wholesale division. AWC is where that continuity becomes visible, in the faces that recognize you, in the conversations that pick up where they left off, and in the new doors that open because the foundation of trust is already there.

What Comes Next

AWC 2026 was a productive two days. New interconnections are in progress for the DID team. SMS and Voice partnerships and service discussions are moving forward. And the industry intelligence gathered in Miami will inform how we continue building the infrastructure and relationships that our customers depend on.

We will be back. For the SMS team, that is a habit built over 15 years of showing up, staying current, and doing the work that keeps C3ntro Global at the front of the wholesale market in the Americas.
